Dropping Off at Heathrow Terminal 2
The Terminal 2 drop-off zone is reached off Constellation Way, up the ramp. Heathrow charges £7 each time a vehicle enters a drop-off area, you cannot wait or pick up there, and entering a second time means paying again. The charge must be paid by midnight the next day, online, by phone or through AutoPay. See Heathrow’s drop-off charge page for the current rules.
Heathrow’s free alternative is its Park and Ride car parks, with a free bus to the terminal. Express drop-off is an optional extra on our bookings. The airport sets the charge and we pass it on at cost, so confirm the amount when you book.
Picking Up at Heathrow Terminal 2
Coming home? Book your return with your outward journey, or any time before you fly. Add your terminal and flight number so we can track your arrival. Flight tracking is free on every airport collection.
- Meet and greet inside Terminal 2 costs £9 extra and includes flight monitoring.
- Meeting point: your booking confirmation tells you where to meet your driver. Call 020 7121 8888 if you want to confirm it before you travel.
- Flight delays: we track them and do not charge for them. Otherwise, waiting time costs £0.34 a minute (about £20 an hour).
- Parking: we cover airport parking up to £7. The passenger pays anything above that.
Collecting someone yourself? Heathrow does not allow pick-ups from the terminal forecourts. Use Terminal Parking or the Park and Ride car park instead. See Heathrow’s passenger pick-up page for current charges.
Terminal 2, Terminal 3 or Another Terminal?
Heathrow has four terminals in use, because Terminal 1 has closed. The fare is the same to Terminals 2, 3 and 4. Terminal 5 has its own fare, from £48. Check your booking confirmation or your airline to see which terminal your flight uses, then choose it when you book. Airlines can move terminals, so see the official Heathrow website if you are unsure. Our Heathrow Terminal 3 taxi page covers the neighbouring terminal, and our Heathrow Airport taxi page covers every terminal.
Taxi, Uber, Train or Black Cab to Terminal 2?
- Pre-booked taxi (One2One Cars): door to door, with a 24/7 office for early or late flights. You see your fare when you book, and we set peak-time fares in advance.
- Uber and other apps: convenient on the day, but prices follow demand, so they can change between searches.
- Black cab: the taxi ranks stop outside each Heathrow terminal. Cabs run on the meter, so the final fare depends on the traffic on the day.
- Train and Tube: quick if you start near a station, but you carry your own bags and may need to change. Check Heathrow’s travel guide and TfL for current times and fares.
We have not quoted other companies’ prices because they change daily. Check the live price of each option for your journey before you decide.
