North Terminal or South Terminal — Does It Matter?
Yes — and it matters more than people realise. Gatwick’s two terminals are connected by a transit train, but they’re separate buildings with separate drop-off and pick-up zones. Turning up at the wrong one adds unnecessary time and stress, especially when you’re travelling with luggage.
Gatwick North Terminal is used by airlines including easyJet, TUI, Norwegian, Wizz Air, and several charter operators.
Gatwick South Terminal serves British Airways, Vueling, Virgin Atlantic on some routes, and a number of other carriers.
The best way to confirm your terminal is to check your flight booking confirmation or the airline’s website. Once you know, simply enter it when you book with us and your driver will go directly to the right place.

Why Book a Pre-Booked Minicab to Gatwick Rather Than a Black Cab or Rideshare App?
It’s a fair question — and here’s the straightforward answer.
Black cabs to Gatwick will run on the meter, which means the final fare depends entirely on traffic conditions. On a good run it might be reasonable; on a busy M23 it will be significantly higher. Rideshare apps apply dynamic pricing, which means the quote you see at 6am when you first open the app can be very different from what you’re charged when the car actually arrives.

Travelling as a Family or Group to Gatwick?
Gatwick is a popular departure point for package holidays and long-haul family trips — which means luggage. Lots of it. A saloon car works well for two passengers with standard cabin and hold luggage, but if you’re travelling with a family of four or a group with a full set of suitcases, it’s worth choosing the right vehicle from the start.
Our 6 Seater carries up to 6 passengers with cabin luggage, or 4 passengers with 4 suitcases. For larger groups, the 8 Seater takes up to 7 passengers with 6 suitcases and 6 cabin bags — meaning one booking covers the whole group, rather than splitting across two cars.
For families with young children, we can arrange baby seats (under 18 months), child seats (1.5–2.5 years), and booster seats (3 years and above) on request. Please request a child seat at the time of booking — availability during peak periods cannot be guaranteed. Under UK law, child seats are not legally required in licensed private hire vehicles, but we aim to have them available for those who want one.
Dropping Off at Gatwick — What to Expect
For departures, your driver collects you from your home or hotel at the agreed time and takes you directly to your terminal entrance. The journey from most of our core West and Central London areas to Gatwick typically takes between 50 minutes and 90 minutes in normal traffic, though the A23 and M23 can slow significantly during peak hours on weekdays.
If you’d like to use Gatwick’s express drop-off facility rather than the standard terminal forecourt, an additional charge of £5 applies. This is Gatwick’s own airport-managed fee, passed through directly — it’s not a One2One Cars charge. Let us know when you book or call us beforehand to arrange it.
A practical note on timing: Gatwick is further from Central and West London than Heathrow, so build in a bit more buffer than you might expect. For most morning departures, we’d suggest a pickup at least two hours before your check-in closes, accounting for potential traffic on the approach roads.
Arriving at Gatwick? Here’s How Your Collection Works
For arrivals, your journey starts before you even land. We track your flight automatically — this is included in every Gatwick collection fare at no extra cost. If your flight is delayed, we know about it and adjust your driver accordingly. Flight delays are never charged to you.
Once you land and clear baggage reclaim, your driver will be in contact via the mobile number on your booking. You’ll receive an arrival SMS when your flight touches down. Your booking confirmation will confirm your meeting point.
If you’d prefer your driver to meet you inside the terminal with a name board, meet and greet is available at both Gatwick North and South terminals for an additional £7 on top of your transfer fare. The standard collection includes a parking allowance of up to £7. If you’re delayed coming through arrivals — lost baggage, customs queues, that sort of thing — waiting time is charged at £0.34 per minute beyond your estimated pickup time. Flight delays specifically are never charged.
